Andy Murray says securing a fourth Queen's Club title would be no guarantee of a second success at Wimbledon a couple of weeks later.

Murray took the honours at Queen's in 2009, 2011 and 2013 and is hopeful of mounting another bid for glory this week, as he prepares to face Lu Yen-hsun in his opening match on Tuesday.

The Scot, who reached the semi-finals at the French Open before starting his grass court preparations, admitted: "If I win this tournament it doesn't guarantee I'm going to win Wimbledon, but it does show form on grass.

"I feel like the past few months consistently I have been playing well at the big events and hopefully that will stand me in good stead."

Meanwhile, Murray is also hopeful that the influence of stand-in coach Jonas Bjorkman will help him on the grass, with the Swede having reached the Wimbledon semi-finals in 2006 in singles and won the men's doubles on three occasions at SW19.

He added: "The things he did extremely well as a player are things I think I could really learn and benefit from with him. He was a very aggressive returner and I think that works extremely well on grass courts.

"He was very good up at the net. He was the number one doubles player in the world.

"If you can get yourself up to the net and play aggressive tennis, it can make a big difference on this surface."
