Barcelona coach Luis Enrique says the 3-0 Champions League semi-final first leg victory over Bayern Munich was the "perfect result" but claims it does not guarantee their place in the final.

The Spanish giants produced a master class on Pep Guardiola's return to the Nou Camp as they dominated their German opponents from start to finish.

Lionel Messi once again stole the show with two second half goals, the second of which saw him leave Jerome Boateng on the floor before beating goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.

Neymar then added the third in stoppage time to give Barcelona what looks to be an unassailable lead heading into the second leg at the Allianz Arena next week.

Enrique was delighted to have recorded such an emphatic win but warned his players they will need a repeat performance in Germany if they are to contest the final in Berlin in June.

"It is a perfect result," he said.

"It brings us closer to a possible final, but we have to confirm it in the second leg, which will without doubt be a hard game.

"I am very satisfied with how we played and the result against such a strong team. We had a lot of chances and they had very few."

Meanwhile, former Barcelona head coach turned Bayern boss Guardiola felt the scoreline was "harsh" and admitted it was tough to see his team coming back from three goals in the second leg.

"After the 1-0 it sapped our confidence a bit, the last goal is a shame because at 2-0 we had a chance but 3-0 is difficult," said Guardiola.

The last time Barcelona went to the Allianz Arena in the Champions League they lost 4-0 at the same stage of competition in 2013.
