West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce insists he has no intention of selling Winston Reid to Arsenal this month.

The 26-year-old New Zealand international is out of contract this summer and is showing no desire to extend his stay at Upton Park.

That has led to a host of clubs expressing their interest in signing the player, with Arsenal leading the chase to land him.

However, former Bolton Wanderers boss Allardyce said: "There's no choice for me, he stays - that's it. If somebody makes a big offer then obviously the chairman decides, but for me he's staying.

"I think that the way the club has improved, he will stay."

Meanwhile, the Hammers boss admits Ravel Morrison will not find another club unless he changes his attitude.

The 21-year-old failed to impress during a loan spell a Cardiff City and Allardyce is losing patience with him.

"Rav didn't perform at Cardiff," he said. "He went there to play games of football and try and reinvent himself.

"If he'd have done the business there he could have created a much more healthy position for himself either back here or somewhere else but, because he was pretty much on the fringes of the team, he was struggling.

"He's left himself in a very difficult position now. The talent is there, he just has to change his whole life and then hopefully somewhere down the line he'll become the player he should be."

West Ham face Everton in an FA Cup third round replay on Tuesday and are 4/6 to qualify for the fourth round, with Andy Carroll available at 7/5 to score at any time in the encounter.
