Manchester City star David Silva insists the pressure is all on Chelsea in the Premier League title race.

City are 2/1 to win the Premier League outright and Chelsea can be backed at 4/9.

Silva's side are now level on points with Chelsea but trail Jose Mourinho's men on goal difference.

Chelsea can move three points clear with victory at Stoke on Monday, but Silva feels the pressure is now on the Stamford Bridge outfit, who held a commanding lead earlier in the campaign.

"Big teams have to get used to this type of pressure, and we need to replicate it until the end of the season and win as many trophies as we can," said Silva.

"We were eight points behind Chelsea a few weeks ago and now we have the same number of points - at least until they play on Monday - so maybe we can put a bit of pressure on them.

"But we will focus on ourselves and hope they drop some points."

City travel to West Brom on Boxing Day and are  to secure all three points, while Silva can be backed at  to score at any time.
