Nico Rosberg insists he is not angry with Mercedes after missing out on the Drivers' Championship to team-mate Lewis Hamilton.

The German went into the season finale locked in a battle for the title with Hamilton but he finished in 14th place following car troubles as his ERS failed.

Rosberg finished second in the standings, 67 points behind the newly-crowned world champion.

Rosberg has now stressed he does not blame Mercedes for the technical problems in Abu Dhabi and has vowed to learn from the campaign and fight for the title next season.

He told Germany's Auto Bild: "I'm not angry with the team. Why would I be mad?
"First, I'm just not so. We win together and we lose together.

"Second, Mercedes built me by far the best car of my Formula 1 career.

"When my initial disappointment has passed, I will look forward again. I have a plan, I know the nuances in races where I need to improve."

He added: "A World title fight is an incredible experience. I learned a lot and I will it implement in the future."
