Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has said in the build-up to El Clasico that he could never coach Barcelona.

The Italian has also confirmed that Sergio Ramos is fit enough to start Saturday's match in the Spanish capital but Pepe is a doubt after he picked up an injury during Real's straightforward 3-0 victory against Liverpool at Anfield in the Champions League.

Ancelotti, who has also coached AC Milan and Chelsea during his career, said: "Now I've trained Real Madrid, I can never train Barcelona. I have to respect my history and the history of the clubs that I have trained.

"It is unthinkable that I will spend 24 years at the club like Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United, but I would like to end my career in Madrid.

"Whenever I see a team I try to find their many flaws. But I have not been lucky this time with Barcelona. I have not found many.

"Pepe's taken a knock. One of my centre-backs will be Ramos. If Pepe recovers well from that knock, he will play too."

Barcelona head the La Liga table after eight matches and are 5/6 to win the title this season. They have yet to concede a goal, having won seven and drawn one match so far this term, and are 4/1 to keep a clean sheet against Real.

Meanwhile, Real are third in the table, four points adrift of Barca and are 12/1 to win 1-0 on Saturday with Cristiano Ronaldo available at 10/11 to score at any time.

Sevilla are currently second in the La Liga table, with Valencia fourth and last season's champions Atletico Madrid fifth.
