Ireland prop Mike Ross is expecting a tough battle in the front-row when they face France in the final match of the 2014 Six Nations on Saturday.

With the title on the line and the Emerald Isle level on points with England and Les Bleus, a victory over Philippe Saint-Andre's men should give them the trophy. Ireland, 1.72 to win the Six Nations title outright, can be backed at 8.00 to beat France by between 11 and 15 points. An Ireland penalty is 2.62 to be the first scoring play.

Although Joe Schmidt's side have a poor record in Paris, they will come up against a team that have struggled for form and consistency, despite them securing three wins in four games.

France haven't managed to attain their traditional forward dominance as their scrum was put under pressure by both Wales and Scotland, but Ross believes that their opponents have the capability to rediscover their form.

"I've played against them a fair bit, I know Thomas Domingo quite well," he said. "He's a strong boy, sets very low and will try and take you up.

"You really have to work hard against him because he's quite squat and quite explosive. In between him you will have Dimitri Szarzewski who's a very good broken field runner and very explosive round the fringes.

"At tighthead they have Nicholas Mas who's been around a while, is a very aggressive scrummager and gets around the park a bit too. It's definitely up to us to put it to them. I think our set-piece has been going quite well so we're in a good place and we need to keep that trend going."
