World number two Novak Djokovic is anticipating a long and tough quarter-final against Stanislas Wawrinka in the BNP Paribas Masters in Paris.

The Serb will only be playing Wawrinka though after being forced to come from a set down to beat John Isner in the previous round, eventually emerging triumphant 6-7 6-1 6-2.

Djokovic has won 13 of his 15 matches against Wawrinka, including a recent five-set classic at the US Open, and is expecting another tight encounter against a man who has sealed his place in the ATP World Tour finals in London later this month.

Djokovic is 4.00 to win the last-eight clash in three sets while a straight sets victory for Swiss star Wawrinka is available at 7.50.

Djokovic said: "Whenever we play each other it's long exchanges, [a] very tough match mentally [and] physically. But I'm ready for it. I have been playing well and obviously he has been enjoying probably his best season."

Djokovic is looking to win his sixth tour-level title of the season, following his triumphs at the Australian Open and in Dubai, Monte-Carlo, Beijing and Shanghai.

Meanwhile, Juan Martin del Potro continued his fine recent form with a 3-6 6-3 6-4 victory over Grigor Dimitrov and Richard Gasquet's place in London was sealed when Milos Raonic was beaten by Tomas Berdych in the third round in Paris.
