The Czech Republic have the chance to avenge their 2009 Davis Cup drubbing against Spain when they take on Alex Corretja's side in this year's final.

Three years ago the Spaniards surged to a 5-0 whitewash but the defending champions, who have won the competition five times since 2000, will be without the injured Rafael Nadal this time.

Prague will host the 100th Davis Cup final and the home side are 1.90 to win the title while Spain can be backed at 1.90.

The draw has paired Spain's leading player David Ferrer with Radek Stepanek in the opening rubber before Nicolas Almagro takes on the world number five Tomas Berdych in the second of Friday's clashes. Ferrer is 1.14 to beat Stepanek while Berdych can be backed at 1.12 to emerge victorious against Almagro.

Berdych and Stepanek will then combine in the doubles when they take on Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez on Saturday before the reverse singles are played on Sunday.

The Czechs are attempting to win the title for the first time since Ivan Lendl inspired them to victory in 1980, which remains the country's only Davis Cup success.

Three years ago Stepanek's loss to Ferrer in a five-set second rubber proved decisive after Nadal had beaten Berdych in the opening match. This time, the Czechs have targeted Almagro as Spain's weak link because of his unimpressive indoor hard court form.
